"Jesse Jane" Gets Off "Online"

Jesse Jane knows better than anyone that online dating sucks. With so many people online pretending to be her, she's been asked to friend request herself at least a hundred times by ruthless, desperate strangers.

Just as with a Nicolas Cage movie, what you're sold is never what you end up getting—and usually it's pretty sad and frustrating (no to mention pathetic). You wind up having to entertain yourself and just feeling bad half the time...all right, most of the time.

So when Robby D over at Digital Playground decided to make a movie about online dating, he knew right away that Jesse Jane was the perfect person to cast as the lead. Luckily she was available, and, after having her agent fax the script over to her one page at a time, she fell in love with the project. She knew within the first ten pages that this was going to be the script that she would be remembered for (along with that amazing guest appearance on Entourage where she threatened to butt fuck the comic geek harassing Vince—but the nerd totally loved it).

We're not going to be like other sites that give away the plot. In fact, we're not even going to tell you whether it's a comedy, sending up online dating, or all dramatic, like a Brad Armstrong movie. Anyone can tell you that, right? Instead we're going to tell you that Jesse fucks three guys in this movie: Mick Blue, Scott Nails, and Ben English—who has since retired (or so we are told).

After months of effort, Digital Playground launches their new and improved membership website today. We got a sneak peek at what they have to offer—and are pleased to report that they've put together a pretty hot product.

Not that we're surprised: Digital Playground is known for its top notch, high quality content—and the website provides a whole lot of it. Stretching back almost a decade to "Rocki Roads' Wet Dreams," the site offers access to most of Digital Playground's very extensive library (with some notable exceptions: new releases are added at about a four month delay—"Stoya Heat" is the latest addition to the website—and high end features, like "Cheerleaders" and "Pirates," are missing from the database). But it's not just quantity that the site affords: the site's HD clips maintain DVD quality resolution even when at full screen (for those with slower internet connections, the enhanced version looks great when in the player; the lowest quality "standard" version is not great, but far better than what you'll see on most tube sites).

Digital Playground has also worked hard to make sure that site members are able to easily get access to exactly the porn they want. Looking for a specific girl? Surf over to her profile page, and get access to every full length movie, scene, and photo gallery she's appeared in. Want to watch a blowjob (or a cumshot, or ass to mouth, or...)? The niche clips section gives you access to just that section of a scene—with no need to fastforward through everything else. Stumble on something you particularly like? Mark it a favorite, and easily come back to it whenever you're in the mood.

Digital Playground Provides The Ultimate Back To School With "Teachers"

Digital contract stars (past and present) Jesse Jane, Stoya, Angelina Armani, Katsuni, and Riley Steele go crazy in a school bus orgy that is still simply blowing our minds. "Jesse Jane Heat" Really Brings It

One of the (many) respectable things about Digital Playground is that when they name a movie after one of their contract girls, the movie turns out to be precisely about that girl. We’re not going to name names or anything, but loyal readers may recall that certain porn companies don't always follow that protocol. So—at least in this respect—"Jesse Jane Heat" is a lot like "Zack & Miri Make A Porno," or "Planet of the Apes": the movie's title tells you exactly what the movie is about. After all the dirt pipe milkshaking that we’ve ingested over the years, that kind of directness is most definitely appreciated. Church!

That said, in addition to being about Jesse Jane, "Jesse Jane Heat" also lives up to the "Heat" part of its name with several blistering scenes that are sure to leave something or other chafed, scorched, or smoking by viewing's end. To put it bluntly, Jesse Jane is simply gorgeous; so immaculately put together that she seems more like a wet dream sprung to life than the down to earth girl next door who's quick to laugh at all your corny jokes. With an insatiable sexual appetite and the carefree demeanor of a sixties stewardess, she’s an enigmatic paradox... until she takes off her clothes and starts fucking. At that point, that little part of your brain that keeps your inner dialogue going just shuts off. We could watch her all day long. (Seriously, you have no idea how hard it was to cut this gallery.)

Pirates 2: Stagnetti's Revenge

Here's how much money went into "Pirates 2." When I opened the 4-disc box, three crisp hundred-dollar bills slid out. There was a code on Disc 1 that allowed me half off a 2008 Saturn Vue at the Porn Valley Galpins. There were free helicopter rides to the Van Nuys airport, and either Stoya or Riley Steele is contractually obligated to deliver your "Pirates 2" personally, wearing nothing but your family coat of arms or company logo bodypainted across her eager frame.

But I only speak from personal experience. Your mileage may vary.

A movie of excesses, "Pirates 2" is also an earnest attempt to be a family comedy – much like the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies were, except with rimjobs in it. There are portions of the script devoted to loyalty, believing in oneself, and sticking up for friends that would not be out of place on "Hannah Montana." That these elements appear discretely between scenes of guys coming on each other (just from a porn angle, "Pirates 2" is dirtier and riskier than your average mainstream adult movie) was an uncomfortable marriage of childish themes with very adult ones, as if Digital Playground were trying to let the Sarah Palin demographic know that fisting was "super."

The first joke told by anyone who writes about porn (and a joke he is under the mistaken impression of thinking he has invented) is the one about the sequels. It goes like this: "Whoriental Sex Academy 4 addresses the vital questions left unanswered by Whoriental Sex Academies 1 through 3."

"Pirates 2," on the other hand, really does pick up where its predecessor left off, cannily depending on familiarity with (and perhaps ownership of) 2005's "Pirates" to figure out who "Serena" was and why Captain Evan Stone and First Mate Jesse Jane are searching the Caribbean for her. (Just so you know, Serena is Janine Lindemulder's character from the original. She doesn't appear, Jo-rel or Ben Kenobi-like, in "Pirates 2," however).

An adventure that leads from Jamaica to the (Armenian owned and operated) slave markets to the high seas to the netherworld, where Katsuni's magical Blue Pearl reanimates Tommy Gunn's Stagnetti, "Pirates 2: Stagnetti's Revenge" really is all over the place, and anyone who expects the story to make sense is, I guess, expecting too much. Ditto for the CGI. The pirate hunters' animated ship moves through animated water, leaving no shadow and displacing none of it. The massive worm slain by Belladonna is about as realistic as Jesse Jane's boobs.

But if the big effects are not even to the standards of late-night Sci Fi Channel fare, the sex and the scope of "Pirates 2" are far beyond what you expect and deserve as average porn consumers. You expect an awful porn script? Here you get one that actually expected something of the actors. You expect scenery chewing from the men? Evan Stone and Steven St. Croix ably comply. You want Jesse Jane and Belladonna to fuck the living daylights out of each other? Check.

Not only that, but the strenuous sex scenes we saw in the theatrical (yes, "Pirates 2," like its predecessor, debuted in a theatre) release are extended in the DVD set. So the thrill you got to see added footage of Minas Tirith when the "Return of the King" Extended Edition came out you can now feel when you see even more of Belladonna's colon.

But in other areas the sheer quantifiables of the movie are distractions. The Stagnetti of the title is, despite Tommy Gunn's performance, useless. He appears toward the end and, as it turns out, anticlimactically. Katsuni's incoherent black widow character was both evil and had boobs. Stagnetti wasn't necessary. The same goes for Sasha Grey. Sure it makes sense for Sasha Grey to be in the biggest porn movie of the year, but her presence and character are as tacked on as when everybody in class has to be in the school play, so suddenly Snow White has 40 dwarves.

And why was Shay Jordan not listed on the box? Her performance was wonderful. And why was Stoya only in a group scene? Both are criminal acts. Further inexplicability is achieved in non-speaking, non-fucking roles for Ange Venus and Adrianna Nicole ("I fell asleep on set," Nicole said.)

Regardless, we persevere. We remember that "Pirates 2: Stagnetti's Revenge" is a porn movie – and an excellent porn movie - with all the usual limitations even if, as shouted from the boxcover, it is "The Biggest Adult Production in History." We still have four DVDs worth of delightful, turgid nudity.

The event was the "Pirates II" premiere at downtown L.A.'s jewel box Orpheum Theatre this weekend, and the adult industry was on notice that if they didn't attend they would be kicked out and banished to perform random blowjobs in Vancouver. Vancouver, Washington, no less. That is why Fleshbot West attended, and brought you the following report.

The biggest American adult industry event prior to January's AVN Expo, the "Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge" premiere attracted most of the movie's stars including Jesse Jane, Katsuni, Stoya, the sylphlike Riley Steele, Evan Stone, Tommy Gunn, Steven St. Croix, and David Aaron Clark, seen here with Jandi Lin, whose process in his pivotal whore-negotiating scene involved eating two turkey legs.

"I was there for two days of shooting," he said.

The premiere marks the midpoint of "Pirates"-related marketing and publicity, coming more than three years after the debut of its predecessor's first press release and three years before the collected weight of all its publicity efforts will sink the Pacific Rim (which, considering the analingus involved in this movie, would have made a good subtitle).

The only porn stars to arrive dressed like pirates were the swashbuckling Nicki Hunter and Tommy Gunn, the Stagnetti of the title, who wore his evil glass eye.

"I wasn't in the movie much," he said. "But I'm hoping for a Supporting Actor nomination," Gunn said.

"But you were the title character," we observed. Hollywood is so unfair.

Former Digital Playground contract performer Teagan prowled the red carpet for XBiz which, like rival AVN, now features video interviews. If only Sophia Santi and Janine had been there, it would have been a "Pirates" reunion.

Other porn luminaries in attendance were publicity magnet Kayden Kross, Aiden Starr, Bobbi Starr (no relation), Ringo Starr (not actually there), Satine Phoenix, Jenna Haze, and Sasha Grey, who came dressed as Sasha Grey.

As usual, Ange Venus, who plays the inscrutable Katsuni's henchwoman in the movie, attracted most of the attention on the red carpet, wearing almost nothing but her hair. Katsuni by comparison dressed very elegantly. It was as if Venus was going to the MTV Awards and Katsuni to the Golden Globes.

This reporter spent so much time outside that he did not get in on the free bar in the lobby, but by then the movie was starting. The crowd cheered as the first popshot broke over Shay Jordan's prow. As the massive, seemingly interminable countdown to the release of Digital Playground's "Pirates II" ticks down to its final minutes, Porn Valley is readying to don its melon body spray-scented finest for the movie's world premiere screening in Hollywood tomorrow night. In the meantime, we here at Fleshbot are sitting here in our underwear as usual getting ready to upload even more behind-the-scenes preview pics from what we're assured is "the most expensive adult movie of all time". We do, after all, want you to be sure you're getting your money's worth. (And we don't even have to get dressed to do it!)

By this point, of course, the original "Pirates" needs no introduction (unless you happen to be a curiously dismissive blog tipster): aside from being the best selling porn movie of all time, it's still selling like crazy and has even had the distinction of being edited down from its adult version and made available for rental at the formerly Mormon-owned Blockbuster, which means that even Mit Romney and his extended family have probably seen it.

While it has a tall order to follow, "Stagnetti’s Revenge" continues in its predecessor's fine tradition with an absolutely stellar cast including Digital Playground contract stars Stoya™, Riley Steele™, Jesse Jane™, Gabriella Fox™, and Shay Jordan™ along with the non-trademarked Katsuni, Sasha Gray, Belladonna, Rhylee Richards, Jenna Haze, Abbey Brookes, Brea Lynn, Brianna Love, Veronica Rayne, and Shyla Stylez. (Wow, just typing that cast list made our hands tired. Imagine how they'll feel once we get our screener copy!)

Director-slash-seafaring visionary Joone literally spared no expense for the sequel—as in, he actually built a fucking pirate ship from scratch for the production, hired mainstream fight choreographers and stunt coordinators, added over 600 special effects, and catered each shoot with Beluga caviar and gold leaf-encrusted foie gras sliders (OK, maybe that last part is just a rumor). Meanwhile, many of his pornic competitors have been busy trying to make ends meet by rereleasing compilations discs and cutting their feature budgets down to practically nothing. Take that, one-camera gonzo auteurs!

But will the final product live up to the hoopla? We'll just have to wait until the premiere to find out. Until then, enjoy the preview pics below while we find something clean to wear for tomorrow night.

"Pirates II" Trailer Hits Internet; Movie Still At Large

Remember that curiously skin-free teaser for "Pirates II"? Well, a mere year and a half after turning on the hype machine for what some believe is the most eagerly anticipated pirate-themed porn megaspectacular ever, Digital Playground has finally released a real trailer — and, unlike the aforementioned teaser, it doesn't totally suck! (Or at least gives you a better idea that this is a porn movie and not someone's AfterEffects experiment.) With practically everyone in the adult industry and their mother getting banged in this movie, there's bound to be at least one scene that'll turn your crank—and for that reason alone, we're sure "Pirates II" will prove to be worth the wait. A mere two years after releasing the teaser, Digital Playground has released the cover art for "Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge", leading to widespread speculation that the actual movie might arrive by the Vancouver Winter Olympics in 2010. Featuring a family-friendly, nowhere-near nude septet tableau including Stoya, Katsuni, and Jesse Jane front and center, the cover also features a diverse cast representative of porn's vaunted crossover appeal, including Belinda Carlisle, The Grimace, and Godzilla.

It's Official: Jesse Jane Is "Sexy Hot"

Despite her reclusive nature, Digital Playground's directrix-in-residence Celeste must surely be one of the hardest working women in the adult business: this week she's responsible for the release of "Jesse Jane: Sexy Hot" starring the titular pint-sized porn powerhouse along with a pre-impregnanted Eva Angelina, Audrey Bitoni, and Sarah Vandella. While it has everything you've come to expect from a DP production—good lighting, excellent camerawork, enthusiastic performances, and sets that make us think we really need to do something about all those milk crates that function as "decor" here at Fleshbot Central—we have to admit the title is kind of, well, obvious. "Contract Star": Everything Old Is Blu Again

Digital Playground's "Contract Star", a very smart and silly movie written by that company's long-time editor Joey Pulgadas, was the first porn movie I ever felt compelled to watch beginning to end. Made in 2004 and featuring the first girl/girl scene between Jesse Jane and Teagan Presley as well as an early appearance by Tommy Gunn, "Contract Star," just re-released in Blu-Ray, is a throwback to fun porn movies.

The plot involves warehouse workers Chuy and Julio (the pasty Eric Masterson and Evan Stone) seeking to augment their porn-packing incomes by finding their company a new contract star. Allong the way they meet Maruca (Jesse Jane) and La Sad Eyes (Teagan Presley).

An excellent example of a porn movie that is great because it doesn't take itself too seriously, "Contract Star" is worth christening your Playstation 3 with.

All right. Erotica L.A. had those, too, in its three-day consumer fleshly bazaar at the L.A. Convention Center. But for those of us with more refined libidos, there was also a booth selling Egyptian cotton sheets. And if you need to ask how those are erotic, you've never jerked off to Lemmy Kilmister.

But discount travel agencies and car detailing booths weren't all Erotica L.A. had to offer; there were also dozens of porn stars either signing at stripped-down booths (by comparison with the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas in January) or roaming the aisles.

Those who say the porn business is dying need only have looked at the long lines stretching in front of a vaguely-military Belladonna to be assured that, no, only the DVD and massive booth-renting business is dying - porn is fine.

Capping Saturday's festivities was the third annual F.A.M.E. Awards, hosted by Jesse Jane and Randy Spears. The adorable Bree Olson won Best Rookie. Other people won other things, and we took their pictures, but we admit we didn't watch the ceremony. We were too busy trying to buy sheets.
